Education blog - NetSupport DNA

Just a few days to go until Bett 2019!

Doesn't it come around quickly! But the truth is, we've been thinking about and planning for this Bett show for months and months and months now. We wanted to make it an extra special one because NetSupport is going to be celebrating its birthday in 2019 and we're aiming to start with a party at Bett - and then carry it on through as much of the year as we can! {{Learn more}} This grand occasion is the theme for our stands (D120 and D130), which are taking shape as we speak. They're already looking spectacular (as the result of a ton of hard work from GH Displays – thanks guys!) and we can't wait to see them in situ on the show floor in a week's time.

So what else do we have in store for you at the show? Well, in addition to the bucketloads of new features for NetSupport DNA and NetSupport School that we mentioned in our recent blog, we've got a dedicated presentation area in which we're hosting more than 25 superb edtech speakers, who will be talking about all sorts of fabulous topics from safe social media to raising the profile of your school IT team, recording pupils' learning journeys, edtech wins for classrooms, tech for wellbeing – and so many more. Check out our presenter schedule here for more details of who is speaking and when.

For the third year running, we'll be broadcasting NetSupport Radio live from the show and we are delighted to welcome back expert Bett DJ and host, Mr Russell Prue, to take charge of the proceedings and bring you live chat from a host of edtech experts, edtech news, music and so much more. He'll be broadcasting live from 3pm each day so, if you'd like to get involved, tweet us using the hashtag #NetSupportRadio or text 85010 and start your message with RADIO. Alternatively, you can email Russell live on our stand on mailto:radio@netsupportsoftware.com.

We're thrilled to be hosting three very special guests on our stands this year: The ANME (Association of Network Managers in Education); GoBubble (safe social media for under 13s); and Anderton Tiger school radio solutions. It'll be great to have a mix of visitors on the stand – just right for really getting the party going!

It's going to be a very exciting show for us, not just because it's our birthday, but  also because our newest addition to the NetSupport family, ReallySchool (observations and assessment solution for early years education) has been named a finalist in the Educational Apps category of the Bett Awards this year. While developing the solution, the team has collaborated tirelessly with teachers and TAs to make sure that the app is something that will really help them with the task of capturing observations and assessments for their young pupils without creating an extra burden on their time. We're absolutely delighted that this hard work has been recognized by the Bett judges and we're keeping our fingers and toes firmly crossed for the awards evening…

See details of what's happening on our stands at the show here https://www.netsupportsoftware.com/bett-2019/ and we look forward to seeing you next week!
